While driving to work, I saw this parked in someone's driveway. Did the usual double take/stop in the middle of the street and back up and couldn't figure out what the shit it was. Apparently it's a Bradley GT Gullwing.
Not my picture because the incredibly durable ipod touch lasted all of a week in my hands. The one I found looks pretty junky but it looks like the guy drives it. Anybody know much about these?

All I know about it is that I'm strangely attracted to it.
Does CarMax carry these puppies?

My best friend built one, fiberglass body from the 70s on a beetle. Anything more you'd like to know?
Now with picture!

I wouldn't be surprised if theres an electric one or two out there but they're designed to be beetle powered, I can hear this things air cooled clatter well before it comes into view

Yup. Bradley GTII EV
And there was gonna be a dealer in Salt Lake! The history! The local culture! The mormons wanted fiberglass bodied electric cars in the 70s!!??

That is the single best door I've ever seen. Why can't my house be like that?

That ones the GT 2, there's also a Bradley GT
Both are VW Beetle kit cars. I briefly flirted with getting one to replace my Jeep back in high school. I still think they're really cool, the GT2 is a little cooler I'd say. Maybe I'll get one some day.

Someday = today. I got a lead on one sitting in northern Utah all ready for ya.
Gullwings are all the justification you need for it.

The are coveted for electric conversions due to their low weight. I have a friend that I helped to convert his. The thing is fast fast. Real fun to drive.

Hopefully it's because your house isn't a self built fibreglass kit powered by a 13B... Wait a minute... WHY CAN'T OUR HOUSES BE LIKE THIS?!
